Robert Benson Ph.D. Composer, Educator

Robert Benson is a free-lance Anglican musician in the Cincinnati area and on the faculty of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is a member of the Association of Anglican Musicians and sits on the Executive Committee of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Since the age of sixteen, he has held numerous positions as organist and choirmaster in Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio. Benson began his musical training when he was only four years old and began composing at the age of twelve. His choral and organ works are published by Augsburg Fortress, Trinitas Press, St. James Music Press and Mark Foster Music.
