As anyone who has worked with me or for me will tell you, I am great on a job! I have a great work ethic, keep the atmosphere fun and lively, and want everyone to not only get their job done, but WANT to get their job done and have fun doing it! I like to make sure people enjoy the work they do, and have a reason to get it done. I help people have ownership over their work. I am a natural leader, motivated, and likeable, perhaps to a fault. I have been on a couple of job interviews, and afterwards have always asked for ways the person felt I can improve myself. Of course I have always taken these constructively, which is why I asked. I wanted to know how to make myself better for the job market and improve myself professionally. The two things I have been told of why I did not get hired were that I was too honest, especially when it comes to my faults (which I am being here again) and that I care too much and am extremely personable. I knew these things about myself, and never found either as a flaw, but I can see how some places would not want a person like that. If that is you and you were considering hiring me on...now you know that is who I am. I am honest, I care, and I work well with others. I like to work with people, and I care about people succeeding. If I were to advise a Programming Board or got a job teaching I would be hands on helping the students as well as guiding them to success. If you look back at the book my mom kept on me throughout elementary school, you would see each year a spot where it asks what I would like to be when (if?) I grow up. Each job was a job where I could help people and make a difference in their life. I no longer want to be Batman, sure...but that has still been my career desire my whole life. So, if you are reading this, chances are you have looked at my resume and are considering hiring me. My last flaw I will mention (it is to some, I don't consider it one) is that I am Peter Pan. I will never grow up. I collect comics. I collect toys. I have a youthful exuberance for life I never want to lose. My top goal in life is to ENJOY life, and to help others do the same. Too many people get bogged down in the depressing stuff in life, and look back and realize they paid all their bills, they went to work everyday, they paid their taxes, and they raised a good family. When I look back it would be nice to see that stuff, but it would be even better to see that I enjoyed my life, and helped others enjoy it in various ways. Why should you hire me? To me that's not the question you should be asking yourself after reading this. The question should be why would you not want to hire me?
