Micah Cooper is Manager of Computing Resources and head of the IT Group for the School of Engineering & Applied Science at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. A graduate of Miami University, he previously worked for MCIS as a Network Systems Administrator, specializing in Novell eDirectory and Novell NetWare. He also served as part of the MUNet CD Build Team.
Mr. Cooper was responsible for the conversion of the University's NDS implementation structure from a distributed model to one where all users are contained in .users.mu, allowing better system provisioning, stability, and support. He also helped support the authentication consolidation of various services including Blackboard and myMiami to LDAP.
Mr. Cooper is an active member of Victory Christian Church and serves on its Leadership and Stewardship Teams. He currently resides in Oxford with his wife, Maggie, where together they support a cat and guinea pig.
