Arlene
Hutton's plays have clean, crisp dialogue. She makes her characters
sound contemporary and direct. Each of the six plays and two
monologues has a different location which the director wished
to represent as simply as possible. She also was interested
in a stainless steel feel.
The
multi-faceted metal towers were moved and turned by the actors
to represent the different locations. The color sketches were
drawn in VectorWorks and hand colored.
