About
the Design
This
production was done in the 365 seat thrust theatre at Centre
College. the director wanted a feeling of descent into the kitchen
to mirror Julie's descent from grace. He also wanted to see
a silhouette of Jean and Julie in the bedroom during the peasant
entrance. This was accommodated by making the back wall of the
kitchen translucent.
The stove and sink were practical.
