are two designs for this show. The first was actually produced
in 1999. The director wanted to go a bit cartoony with it. The
daughters arrive at the beach in bathing costumes and "Climbing
Over Rocky Mountain" became an exercise routine. A little
bit of camp.
I
redesigned the show a bit in May 2000 to make it work in the
Pamela Brown Auditorium at Actor's Theatre of Louisville (not
for an actual production), a more thrusty kind of space. I was
bale to explore some things I wasn't able to with our limited
budget and resources.
