Several student opportunities are availabvle to work on microbe-mineral interactions, bioremediation of contaminated groundwater and soils, and microbial life in various extreme environments. These projects are being carried out with various collaborators across the nation and abroad. Most of my collaborators are microbiologists, geochemists, mineralogists, petroleum geologists, environmental and chemical engineers in various aspects of environmental applications.
