English 313 - Intro to Technical & Scientific Writing
The purpose of this course is to prepare you for the writing you will do in your career by providing you with instruction and practice in creating a variety of technical communications. This course introduces the principles of technical writing, focusing on defining purpose, analyzing audience, developing document structure, creating page layouts, and drafting and revising communications.


ENG 694 - Technical & Scientific Writing
In this course, you'll practice specific skills for developing, evaluating, and delivering technical and scientific communications in print and online. We will explore how standard genres (reports, proposals, and instructions) may be adapted to meet a particular purpose, and how a variety of genres may be used when working with a client. A primary goal of the course is to further develop your writing skills through completing technical and scientific communication projects.
