Spring Break, whoo! Whoo.
I'm back in Oxford now; I'm back to life. I wish I could say I feel rejuvenated by my time away, but actually this place and the work I'm doing feels even crappier by contrast to Seattle and its possibilities. I envy Stephen his freedom. Sure, that same freedom will be mine too, but that's a year and a completed thesis away.
Alright then. Back to work with me.
PS - Can I just say how much I loathe the Chicago airport? The thing is massive, which is fine, whatever, but there are absolutely
no outlets anywhere. Ok, fine, they do exist, but they are few and far between and placed oddly so that people using them often have to sit on the floor. I had a long layover there yesterday and spent over an hour hunting down an outlet for my laptop. I came across other scavengers, walking slowly and scanning the walls. We exchanged expressions of exasperation; we knew each other's pain.
Furthermore, there's no free WiFi. Which is just absurd. If tiny airports like Dayton can offer this service for free, surely Chicago can. Ugh.
