I subsequently worked in the quantitative division of the psychology department at the University of Illinois. Prior to obtaining my Ph.D., I spent a year at the Adaptive Behavior and Cognition (ABC) group at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany, under the direction of Dr. Gerd Gigerenzer.
