This site contains a paper written for Laura Mandell's English 441: The Early Romantics class at Miami University during the fall semester, 1997. The paper looks at the shift in Wordsworth's understanding of his psychological relationship to childhood experiences in the Two-Part Prelude and the Ode. You will also find links to other Wordsworth sites, a link to the class home page, and pictures of the Lake District where Wordsworth spent much of his childhood and his life.
