Psy 221A: Introductory Social Psychology

Prof. Allen McConnell — Spring Semester 2008

Announcements

First, thanks for a wonderful semester! I hope each of you enjoy a wonderful summer!
Final grades are now posted. Once everyone's lowest exam was dropped, the sum of the points earned on the four best exams for each student was computed and applied to the scale listed in the syllabus. In the end, there were 19As, 43 Bs, 38 Cs, 13 Ds, and 10 Fs.
The average grade on the final exam was a 175, which is a 70%. This average appears to be low but this reflects that 32 students did not take the final, including 12 who already had earned As in the class (and probably, based on past performance, would have raised the average grade on the final exam considerably).
