Letter of Introduction to the Class & Letter of Introduction to Instructor

For Thursday's class you'll need to write two letters and read my letter of introduction to the class (linked off main page if this link isn't working).

First, please write a letter to the class introducing yourself and discussing whatever information you wish to share that will help me and your classmates get to know you better. This letter will be shared publicly through posting on our Blackboard site.
Directions for posting:
1) Log into our Blackboard site at mymiami.muohio.edu
2) Click on Discussion Board in the left menu.
3) Click on Add a New Thread.
4) Write message (or cut-n-paste) introduction and click submit.
(Note: Blackboard, like all content delivery platforms, is prone to breakdowns, usually just as you hit the submit button for something you've spent an hour writing. So to prevent frustration, endless re-doing of assignments, and technological despair, I recommend you first write your post in a word processing program, saving it as a file on your computer and that you cut-n-paste into Blackboard's discussion forum. That way if the system does fail, you've got your original to post again.)
