Research
My research is in the area of computer and network security and
privacy. My recent projects include fine-grained access control
in large databases and online matching with private inputs.
Another of my research projects centers around the problem of security
of information in a
large scale environment with large numbers of information publishers
and consumers. I work on development of algorithms supporting
content-based publish-subscribe systems. Content-based systems (as
opposed to subject-based) offer much greater flexibility and potential
scalability necessary in today's information systems. The flexibility
offered by content-based systems makes it hard to develop security
solutions. The problem of efficient security solutions in content-based
systems is the main part this research project.
