Research Interests
Broadly speaking, I am interested in research concerning children and adolescents. More specifically, I am interested in the transmission of religious and/or spiritual beliefs and practices from parents to children and adolescents, the development of religious and/or spiritual beliefs in children and adolescents, and how adolescents use religion and/or spirituality to deal with life's stressors. Even more specifically, I am interested in how the interaction of the adolescent's personality and the parents' style of parenting influences the adolescent's religious and/or spiritual beliefs and practices and the adolescent's well-being as he or she approaches adulthood.
