I am on the faculty of the Department of Political Science at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. I chair the Public Administration and Policy Analysis Committee and serve as the Chief Advisor for all Public Administration majors. My teaching responsibilities are in the public administration program. I teach courses in public administration, public personnel management, public policy analysis, research methods, and local government politics and administration. I am the Director of the Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs.

Miami's program in public administration prepares students who are interested in public service careers, including work for federal, state, or local government; city management; international organizations; nonprofit institutions; government relations in private firms; consulting firms; or post-graduate education in public administration, policy analysis, or law.
