Before entering the academy as an Educational Psychologist, I was both a professional musician as well as a public school instrumental music teacher in the elementary and secondary schools in the Detroit, Michigan area.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Born in Toledo, Ohio, 5 July, 1941. Raised in the Toledo/Detroit area and graduate of E. D. Libbey High School [installed into the Libbey High Hall of Fame on April 24th, 1998!]. Married, two children, one of each gender, both graduates of Miami University and a Grandfather to one grandson born, Kyle Alexander, 17 May, 1998.
