Cecilia Shore is a faculty member in the Developmental Concentration within the Psychology department at Miami University.  She teaches courses in:

Lifespan Developmental Psychology Child Development Seminar/Practicum on Teaching Psychology Theories and Methods of Developmental Psych.

Introduction to Psychological Statistics Seminar: Cognitive Development: Language, Play and Theory of Mind Continuing Supervision of Teaching Capstone: Cognitive Development in Social Context

Her research interests include language and cognitive development in the preschool years, symbolic play and parent-infant interaction, event memory and causal understanding, and theory of mind developments such as understanding of mental states such as dreams, desires vs. intentions, and pretense.

• She is a co-principal director of the APA PFF Scholars Program.
• She directs the CELT Graduate Student Teaching Enhancement Program and CELT’s New Faculty Teaching Enhancement Program.

• She directs the DUOS (Doctoral Undergrad Opportunities for Scholarship) program which administers small grants to doctoral student mentors and undergrad researchers.

• Her advisees may be interested learning about Career and Grad School information.
