The Marcum Conference Center
The Marcum Conference Center is located on the campus of Miami University and is an ideal location for the small conference format we are using. All meetings will be held in the center. No parking permits will be needed for conference participants. A general description of the meeting site can be viewed at:
Within that site http://www.hdg.muohio.edu/marcum/?showme=Directions.htm will provide driving directions from all compass points. A rather inadequate campus map can be found at http://www.miami.muohio.edu/about_miami/Virtual_Tour/campusmap/index.cfm with the Marcum Center in the Northeast quadrant (building 72). If you need a campus map, please indicate same in your registration.
For those who wish to stay the night, we request that you make your own arrangements. The Marcum Conference Center has blocked a reasonable number of rooms for participants. Rates vary from $79 - $99 according to configuration of the room. Some extra rooms are also reserved in the nearby Miami Inn. For reservations at either site you may call (513) 529-2104 and identify yourself as a conference participant. All accomodations are smoke-free (as are all Miami University buildings) and include continental breakfast and internet access. Check in time is 3:00PM and checkout is 12:00 noon. We are required to release rooms back to the Center by November 13, so please make your reservations before then.
