Each chapter will have assigned with it a group of problems from the text.  These are meant to be a basis for your assessing your mastery of the materials.  You should keep a record of your work on these problems for your reference.

 

Exams will be multiple choice in format and the tentative grading scale will be:

 

85-100 A

75-84 B

65-74 C

55-64 D

Below 55 F

 

Revisions of the scale (only downward) will be considered at the end of the term, as will +/- grades.

 

Lectures will be equivalent for both sections; students may attend either of both.  Due to extensive use of proprietary material, they cannot be made available on the web.
