This history of the Apsheronskii Regiment belonged to Tsar Nicholas II and was given as a gift to his son, Alexis, a year or two before the revolution. The three volumes describe campaign strategies and show battle maps of this regiment from 1700-1892. The royal family was particularly interested in military history.

This two volume set contains lavish photographs and commentary about the Russian royal family and the coronation of the last tsar, Nicholas II. Volume I provides a fully illustrated and lengthy genealogy and history of the Russian monarchy from the first Russian princes through Alexander III. Volume II contains photographs of the coronation procession, memorabilia such as printed programs, and photographs of the official delegations from around the world.
