The
Zhou group is moving!
Prof. Hongcai Zhou has
accepted a position as Professor of Chemistry at Texas A&M
University, his PhD alma mater. This exciting transition has
already begun, with the entire group making the move summer 2008. See
Dr. Zhou's webpage
at the Texas A&M Department of Chemistry for more details.
Congratulations
to Zhou group graduates!
2008 graduates from the
Zhou group are:
PhD - Shengqian Ma and David
Collins; BS / BA - Ryan Kuppler, Erika Manis,
and Joe Lopez
See the Group
Alumni page to see where they're headed next!
Good job to all our
graduates and best of luck!

Frameworks Symposium at the ACS National Meeting
Calling all MOF
researchers! Please attend the special symposium
"Metal-Organic Frameworks: What Are They Good For?"
sponsored by the ACS Division
of Inorganic Chemistry at the 235th
ACS National Meeting in New Orleans. There will be five oral
presentation sessions, including both invited talks and contributed
talks, and a poster session will also be held.

collection, structure solution and refinement, and manuscript
writing. Requires a Ph.D. in chemistry and training in
organic/inorganic synthesis and x-ray crystallography. Desire a
familiarity with standard Schlenk and glove box techniques and good
writing and communication skills.
Send letter of
application and vitae to Dr. Hongcai Zhou, Department of Chemistry
& Biochemistry, Miami University, Oxford, OH 45056.
