Nanoscale Materials: 

 Exploiting their uniform spatial distributions, we are interested in using the metal particle arrays as catalysts/templates for growing nanotubes and nanowires, which would have broad applications in many areas including bioanalysis, sensors, solar cells, and electronic devices. We are also working on fabrication of various ZnO nanostructures in aqueous solutions and applying them to dye-sensitized solar cells and sensors.
