Nanoparticle Electrocatalysis:

In electrocatalysis, we use uniform arrays of Au, Pt and Pt-based alloy nanoparticles made by a polymer template approach as model catalysts to study particle structural effects on methanol oxidation and oxygen reduction, aiming at higher efficiency fuel cell catalysts. The advantages of these particle arrays are that they are well separated, free of surface molecular protecting layer, and uniform in size.
